As a Muslim, we go through a whole month of fasting, one reason it’s supposed to teach us to be humble and feel what people with no food go through their life. Thats why the Mosque will never turn anyone hungry down.

I was homeless for a bit in New Orleans was in a pretty bad situation. And the only person that helped me was this dude named Ali who owns this coffee shop called Café Flora in the Marigny Bywater he would let me help clean the place take all the chairs and tables in from outside when they closed at night. He would give me packs of cigarettes. (I don’t smoke anymore) food as much iced coffee as I wanted, and sometimes you give me some money. And you guessed it he’s Muslim. The only person that helped me.

A couple years ago, I called 6 churches near me to ask for help with food assistance and such and they all said "we'll pray for you" and didn't help at all. I'm an atheist as well but I never mentioned that. We just needed food at the time but they didn't help. Christian Churches are an absolute waste of tax dollars and none of them are good people.

Moment she called a mosque I knew my folks would help. Sadaqah/Charity is huge thing for us Muslims. We are taught to help no matter what if a person is in need.

Update, she called Kirk's Church (Dream City Church) in Phoenix Arizona on a Livestream. They didn't help The Muslim Mosque immediately said yes Kirk said this about Islam

Did you see how fast the Islamic centre said yes ?? I actually cried, Muslims are under so much prejudice and racism in America, I hope this changes the narrative about us, we are a loving ppl who want to help everyone 🇵🇸🇵🇸❤️
