AD-In this masterpiece of  📍Steinhausen (1728-1733), the Rococo master builder Dominikus Zimmermann realised his vision of an oval light room for the first time.  When you are there, look out for the detail of the so-called ear windows: their function is to refract the light in as many ways as possible and reflect it into the church interior, regardless of the position of the sun. This trick makes the ceiling frescoes particularly bright and radiant. 🇩🇪 In diesem Meisterwerk von  📍Steinhausen (1728-1733) hat der Rokoko Baumeister Dominikus Zimmermann zum ersten Mal seine Vision eines ovalen Lichtraums verwirklicht.  🔎Wenn du vor Ort bist schaue nach dem Detail der so genannten Ohrenfenster: Sie haben die Funktion, egal wie die Sonne steht, das Licht möglichst vielfältig zu brechen und in den Kirchenraum zu reflektieren. Durch diesen Trick sind die Deckenfresken besonders hell und strahlend.
