He fell in love with her and yet he chose not to stay. His choice still buffles me to this day. I’m not certain if he decided to leave because he no longer wants to suffer due to his condition, hence the title is me before you, or he decided to leave cause he doesn’t want to be a burden to her—sacrificing himself just so she can have a better ending.
