"Stop blaming corruption, it's a disaster." We are well educated enough to know that a disaster couldn't be prevented, but we can definitely lower the impact. The government literally holds the power that can implement and conduct sustainable solutions to reduce the risks of these disasters, we are all aware that our country are prone to such disaster thus creating these solutions plays a vital role. We can take Japan for an example, we all know that Japan is really prone to earthquakes and tsunamis, they can't prevent it, but they built solutions that lower the casualties these disasters may bring. They built tsunami walls, built buildings that can withstand earthquakes. Yet our country, who the people in power did nothing, they conduct projects with our money, but were plundered by the very people. Blaming corruption for the devastating impacts of a disaster is reasonable. We wouldn't experience aftermaths such as flooding, infrastructure damage, and lives lost if government in the first place supports building flood controls and solutions. -ctro (spread)
