Schools are combining cos of low intake. There’s definitely gonna be surplus teaching headcount. It’s a matter of management and expectation on part of teachers and principal.

Talk talk talk - usual PAP programming. Nothing gotta change to help teachers. Going to do more surveys and useless conferences wasting more $$$ and inconclusive outcomes. How about increasing teachers salary, engage more teaching assistants, get administrative mgrs.

Marking is almost impossible to finish. Give e principal/ VP a challenging class to teach n produce desired results in heartland schools.

Revamp teacher assessment methods and criteria. One size does not fit all in the civil service or to borrow and implement assessment methods from the private sector. Teaching is both an art and science. Our assessments do not seem to build and motivate to great teachers and higher educational ideals.

Why is it always 47 hours? I could easily stay in school from 7 to 7 each day. That's at least 60 hours physically in school. I have not even included the work done over the weekend.

teachers too focus on work reviews toxic fight after their teaching ended at 3pm, than understand the real motto of their roles. Whereas non-teaching staff more tired to work long hours to serve those teachers and still got to get sabotage for their work reviews and handle toxic work politics from some lazy teachers to handle the teachers' roles.
