Every $1 we invest in tourism marketing generates $143 in visitor spending and $20 in local taxes — but that only works if visitors feel safe enough to come back. That’s why I’ll launch the Safe Beach Guarantee Program: a certification rewarding hotels, restaurants, and attractions that meet enhanced safety standards. We’ll market that certification aggressively: “Myrtle Beach — Where Safety Meets the Surf.” Tourism supports 82,000 jobs on the Grand Strand. I’m going to protect every single one. Accountability on Day One The current police chief claims violent crime is down 47.5% since 2015 — yet Myrtle Beach still ranks among the most dangerous cities in America. That statistic is misleading, and the results speak for themselves. On my first day in office, I will remove the current police chief. Myrtle Beach deserves a police department that protects people, not reputations. We cannot market ourselves as a family destination while families fear for their safety. Fixing Traffic and Building for the Future Public safety doesn’t end with crime — it includes our roads, our evacuation routes, and our infrastructure. That’s why I will push for the completion of Interstate 73 and its connection to SC 22. This project is not just about convenience — it’s about saving lives during catastrophic hurricanes and fueling long-term economic prosperity by improving access for residents, visitors, and businesses. To relieve congestion now — especially on Highway 501 and Highway 17 — I will implement the Michigan Left Turn concept. This proven traffic design reduces crashes, improves flow, and saves drivers precious time stuck in gridlock. Myrtle Beach needs modern traffic solutions that work — not more studies gathering dust on shelves. Responsible Growth and Infrastructure Reform Myrtle Beach is growing at a record pace — but our comprehensive plan hasn’t kept up. Developers have been allowed to build, profit, and walk away, leaving taxpayers to fix roads, drainage, and stormwater systems. That ends under my administration. As Mayor, I will demand that developers become lifelong partners in our community: Pay full impact fees that reflect 30 years of maintenance, not just construction. Post perpetual maintenance bonds for roads, landscaping, and stormwater systems. Prove infrastructure capacity before approval of any major project. Fund beautification endowments to preserve the Myrtle Beach look and feel for generations. Developers should profit from building here — but not at our expense. If they build in Myrtle Beach, they must invest in Myrtle Beach. Why I’m Ready to Lead I’ve managed multimillion-dollar budgets as a CEO, built nonprofits from scratch, and navigated complex federal contracts. I know how to make every dollar count. And as a lifelong volunteer with the Red Cross, I’ve learned this: You prevent disasters by preparing for them. You protect your economy by protecting your people. Because the truth is simple: Safe streets = full hotels = good jobs = a stronger Myrtle Beach. I’m running for Mayor to deliver all four — safety, prosperity, accountability, and sustainability. #scvotes #scvote #horrycountysc #myrtlebeachsc #myrtlebeachtiktok @Angus Steakhouse and Seafood @Crab Daddy’s @Hooks Calabash seafood buffet @Seafood World @jamiebroadhurst21 @eddieboyd73 @🔴Dan Rahr🔴 @Graham Nelson @user2090055666081 @Inspired By Lee @Calybear @robbieashrealtor @John Rigney @jacindawright @Lisa Bielytska
