Absolutely! Then I put it on baking sheet and lightly toast it in the oven. It really dries it out and adds a wonderful depth of flavor. It doesn’t change the flavor just enhances it!

Here is a game changer. Go to tractor supply, buy a food grade 5 gallon bucket. Dump you cornbread in bucket, get a paint mixer for a drill. Mix everything in bucket. Dump it in pans. No mess, one thing to clean.
