Merely returning will not solve the issue now The Dutch government has to compensate China for the losses it incurred during this period. Only after payment is received, China will then consider if it wants to resume its supply.

only problem for china is western countries can't produce anything without Chinese materials and asian countries have no capabilities to produce as much as westerns, so to keep china's income stable it has to rely on western consumptions of Chinese raw materials and items..
