Had a best friend for 7 year drop me because she stopped communicating. Then projected things that weren't true onto me and then stabbed me in the back over the problems she herself created. 🙄

AuDHD here: The last friend I had would say they were “emotionally unavailable” and I still have no idea what that means 2 yrs later. I wasn’t clingy, didnt “need” them, in fact they were the one who texted/called almost daily for like a month and then stopped, said that school was taking up all their time. I only sent a couple texts over the course of the next month like, “hey just checking on ya, hope all is well” but not even a “👍” in response. I got mad after a while and told them, “You are not ‘too busy’ to merely acknowledge my message! You CAN reply, you just won’t.” My conclusion: they wanted the convenience of access to me on their terms—is that what “emotionally unavailable” means? It’s the nicer way of saying “I’m gonna use you and then ditch you” ? I’m sorry to unload in the comments, I’m just trying to say that I relate to the misunderstandings that come with friendships💞

I met my best friend in 6th grade this way just went up and said “do you want to be friends?” She said it was weird way to make a friend but we became best friends
