The only truly expensive thing in SG is car ownership and it was deliberately designed to be so. Everything else is relative, including property prices.

Thank you! Singapore is NOT expensive. Definitely much less than other developed cities like London or Sydney. Depends on what you indulge in. I keep saying this but hey, saying it is expensive gets views I guess. Enjoy your stay.

Singapore is not expensive. Surveys keep hyping up that our country is very expensive. But those who travel a lot knows Singapore is actually affordable despite what online surveys say. Travel more and you will know.

If you're here the next time, do go to neighbourhood areas. Its very accessible by public transport to and fro where you're staying. You'll see how local community areas, quaint cafes, some stationary shops, markets, shopping malls with foodcourts where there are MANY affordable food options 😋

Hotels will likely be the biggest expense because locals are not allowed to operate airbnb's. But do your research. Look out for 'free attractions' Chinatown, Arab Street, Little India, Botanic Gardens, etc etc and find the nearest corresponding train lines to keep costs down.

Go take bus ride terminal to terminal wouldn’t spend u much check the bus interchange bus nos route which terminal u prefer to end then take the bus enjoy the trip the most only charge u $2++ or go vivo city library sit read listen music from your earphone can pass your time so fast & library is free
