sea salt isn't filtered very finely. it can't be if you want the salt. that means anything the same size as salt that's in the ocean can be in your sea salt. that includes phytoplankton zooplankton sea monkeys etc...where do you think all the minerals come from

the salt is not going to hurt you 😭 the brine shrimp only grew because the water in the bell is stagnant. if you leave any water stagnant like that microorganisms will begin to grow
