Could be the type of litter, combined with her age. I used Cats Pride briefly because it was cheaper than what I was using before and never again! Upgraded her litter box and changed back to old litter (Tidy Cats Health Alert) and she no longer plays in the litter box.

⚠️p.s. She's a stray who is 8 weeks old and unfortunately the mother never taught her or the other 3 siblings to be litter trained they just stayed in a shed and never went to a designated spot for the restroom⚠️

When she has accidents put them in the litter box and she will figure it out
