Speed is t the issue. Inability to safely operate a boat is.

You should confiscate all boots. Maybe ban tournament fishing.

Theres always that one fkn guy that has to run 80 mph in the fog. Its really a few bad apples giving tournament fishing a bad name. I like the work you do Slick and thank you for always sharing everything with us! You are a great guy and hell of a bass fisherman!

Should not let them go. That should be tournament director responsibility and make them responsible

More big lawsuits against the speeding boat driver, tournament series, and promoters. Before long they are going to go after the owners of these public waterways for allowing these big tournaments on public waters.

Yeah it’s sad that we had to bury him over some kids in a boat running 60+mph with graph and he was going 5mph that boy was always scared of the fog he never would try to run with a graph but the ones that are always doing the safe right thing never makes it but what I’m thankful for is he had a testimony and I will be with him again one day and there was 9 people saved at his funeral so god always has good things come from bad things

Foggy conditions are scary. I’m not worried about hitting another boat, I’m worried about them hitting me…. These modern day anglers are different.

I may get killed for this, but, it comes back to the person driving the boat. The outfit putting the tournament on has to make those decisions because they are running a business and have liability. I hate it. Tragic.

With graphs you can see where you’re going but the other person can’t see you coming. No amount of money is worth dying or killing someone.

we had a tournament on Melton hill Saturday that we were told that boaters could leave in the fog or wait. I was kayaking and you couldn't see 30 ft. if they ran they'd not know I was there until it's too late. how do directors allow this?
