@kayli_renee_jones: yeah... 🤣 Getting pregnant at 16 is not normal, and it shouldn't be. We started dating at 14. I was on birth control when I got pregnant at 16. It is definitely NOT what we wanted or what we had planned. But I got pregnant. We made the choice to keep our baby, knowing it was going to be hard, and it was. Skyler stepped up and got a job, and worked his ass off until he could find a better job. We both graduated early, got married, and did everything we could to make our situation work. He now has a really good job, we just bought our first home, we have 2 happy healthy kids and have been together for almost 8 years. It was HARD and if we could have done all of this later, we would have. Unfortunately, we didn't know birth control wasn't 100% effective at the time. But this is our life, and we're happy and thriving now. I am not proud that I got pregnant at 16, but I am proud of how we handled it. #teenparents #marriage #funny #relationships #storytime
