me and my late wife refinanced 14 years ago and went with a 15-year mortgage we buckled down it was tough for the first month budgeting but now the house will be paid off in another year well worth it

Drop the property tax, stop allowing hedge funds to buy up all the single family homes as investments, and stop allowing banks to front load interest. It’s really simple. And I agree with you that rent history should be included in loan considerations. That’s a great idea

Drop interest rates. That’s all they can do. There’s no reason for the interest rates to stay as high as they are. Our children will never be alone a house and if they do a 50 year mortgage, they’ll be dead before they ever own it in this countrywill own everything.
