Why is Randy Orton, despite all his achievements and success, still so underrated? Both when compared to mainstream wrestlers like John Cena and Roman Reigns, and in terms of in-ring performance against talents like AJ Styles, Daniel Bryan, Seth Rollins, or Gunther, he doesn’t seem to get the same “larger-than-life” recognition or the “best in-ring” credit he deserves. Why does Randy seem to lack that strong motivation or drive — the kind we see in CM Punk or Edge, who constantly push to be number one? Instead, he often seems content just being in the midcard — not only in recent years, but even back when he was in the main event scene. It’s just sad, because Randy could have been the greatest wrestler ever, not just one of the greats — both a main attraction and an in-ring legend.
