@caprisunbeech: HOW TO CHANGE YOUR OWN OIL IN 11 STEPS: 1. Ask the auto parts store for the type of oil and filter you need for your make and model of your car 2. Jack your car up if it is low to the ground 3. Open oil cap on top of engine 4. Put a pan down to catch oil 5. Loosen the oil drain plug (inspect the plug for abnormalities) 6. Locate oil filter 7. Put the drain plug back on when done draining 8. Pull the drain pan up underneath where the filter is and pull the filter off, oil will drain out of it 9. Prime your new filter with oil 10. When drain plug is put back on and new filter is in place, funnel new oil in. Replace oil cap when finished. 11.
