He got a “love smack,” and it seemed to settle him. Wynnie was nervous but incredibly brave. My heart swelled when she walked over to me to accept a hug. I have missed my healing hugs from JuJu. I’m grateful Wynnie accepts my love so easily. My homework is to use my file to give Wynnie’s hooves a few passes to help her grow accustomed to it. Donkey School continues to be in session! The farrier’s precious father came along. That gentleman doesn’t filter his opinions! He is refreshing and always has funny observations and advice based on his lifetime of experience with equines.
