absolutely awesome. mad respect for the handling and the catch. I've been shark fishing padre island in texas every once in a blue moon for the last 7-8 years or so only on smaller gear so far and caught black tips and smaller hammers. but that right there is the dream fish for me. me and my fishing buds have slowly been upping our game each year. keep on enjoying the experience man.

Unfortunately, that shark probably died. Hammerheads don’t do well after being caught. It sucks. Nice catch but I wish we could choose what bites our hook but we can’t.
