Buck was so right for suing them. He was in the all clear by both doctors AND the Chief. It was Bobby that was holding him back, purely because he thought Buck'd be a liability. And then the other 3 backed Bobby up. So he sued, not for money. But for the right to do his job. AND THEY DIDN'T LIKE THAT

No, he wasn’t trying to do what was best for him. Buck had already been cleared by the doctors—who know more about health than Bobby—and, with the fire chief’s backing, was allowed to go back to Chim almost immediately after the rod incident. The same thing happened with Eddie’s shooting. Bobby was being selfish; he knows Buck well enough to realize Buck would go crazy without his job. Buck didn’t want to return right away; he went to rehab. But Bobby kept bringing up the trauma his kids had experienced. Either way, it just wasn’t fair to Buck.
