You need to ceramic coat or pf the car so they easily remove with a sponge for bugs.

That’s a California thing. I wish I could find the photo of my motorcycle helmet when I drove over the causeway here in the Sacramento area. It was so much worse than your car. That has absolutely nothing to do with the fact it’s EV or the lights.

So bugs aren’t only attracted to lights, they are attracted light colored paints due to reflections of uv light wavelengths.

Ummm…..that’s common when driving in America. Especially at night because bugs are naturally attracted to lights. I can remember when there would be big bugs getting hit by the cars that you would have to stop at a gas station just to clean the splattered bugs off the windshield.

That was SO common years ago! Twice as bad as what you showed! But then the bugs seemed to go away… which is probably not a good omen for life in our planet!
