In the original novel he’s described as a large, eight foot tall man with yellowish dull skin and long beautiful black hair. His teeth were white as pearls and perfect but his eyes were watery and appeared to glow lifelessly. Victor intended on making him beautiful by putting together the most beautiful features but instead the combination came out looking unnatural, uncanny, and even monstrous.
