My doctor wanted to do this procedure- I absolutely refused and found a different gynecologist a (women of course) that won’t do it unless I’m at least some what sedated

I had mine last week, biopsies from two different spots and surprisingly didn’t hurt at all… but hearing her say the words cancer and pre cancer is haunting! Hoping your results come back ok!! ❤️🩹

i didn’t know what it entailed.. and i fell for it too 😅 but now i know you can advocate for yourself!!! there are doctors who do more than give you ibuprofen ♥ it was not just a pinch😅

Same! They told me ibuprofen and then they reassured me I didn’t need to take the whole day off of work…. WHAT?? Needless to say… I called in and then cried alone in my bed all day. Traumatizing.

I also had a colposcopy and a LEEP done. They didn’t give me anything for the biopsy and only numbed me with lidocaine for the LEEP. I was told I wouldn’t even feel it. No one talks about how painful it is and how violated you feel! 🥺🫶🏻

It is INSANITY what women are expected to just take. If it were men they’d have full anesthesia and get opioid pain killers after.
