I am an Algerian Muslim, and in our religion, it is forbidden to say no to someone who is hungry or thirsty. So, to refuse a mother with a baby would be seen as almost a crime.... (Surah Al-Insan, 76:8): “And they give food, in spite of their love for it, to the needy, the orphan, and the captive.”
