Day 1 is all about LEIPZIG, Germany (2.5 hours away from Berlin by train!) This was my first pitstop on my German Christmas Market tour, and man oh man, it did NOT disappoint! Some tips to keep in mind: - If you’re in Leipzig for the Christmas markets, I recommend staying in the Altstadt—it’s perfect walking distance to all the markets! - Definitely take a guided tour if you have enough time—Leipzig’s history is so rich! I even got to see where Johann Sebastian Bach’s bones lie! - Pay close attention to the variety of architecture you’ll see. Because of damage from the war, you’ll spot everything from Baroque to Art Nouveau styles. Day 2, I’ll touch on all the different themed Christmas markets you’ll see in Leipzig, where to eat, and much more!
