From everything I’ve gone through on my way to reaching 100k followers, I’ve come to a conclusion. (Just sharing my experience.) People are so quick to judge you from the worst side, even if you didn’t do anything bad—especially if they already hated you from the start. Yeah, a hater will never want to hear anything good about the person they hate, so it’s better to just ignore them and keep focusing on yourself. (Hopefully they find something better to do than spreading hate.) Honestly, I do like listening to criticism from you guys. And of course, I only take it seriously when it comes from someone who genuinely means well—not from people who criticize just because they want to hate. They’ll throw around so many reasons that don’t even make sense 🤡 (it’s exhausting, because they won’t even want to have a proper discussion). Comments like “sybau”, “keys🔑”, “cringe”, “copycat”, “trash”, “from temu”, etc.—I already treat them as ragebait so I don’t take them seriously. But will I forgive them? Idk, I don’t care (actually I don’t, lol 🥱). And yeah, after months of being a content creator and being friends with one of them, I realized the spotlight really is a stage. Behind the scenes, they can be horrible/toxic people, even hurtful ones. And there’s… a lot of people like that. So I suggest you guys not to stan your idols too hard. Admire them in a normal, healthy way. Because if one day they do something wrong, there’ll be too many people blindly defending it just because it’s their idol. That includes me too. Please don’t love something too much—especially when it comes to people who are bound to make mistakes. But hey, not every content creator is toxic!! There are so many sweet and genuine creators, both in public and in private. And I’m honestly happy I got to be friends with those who truly want to be my friend And ngl, I used to hate Xiaother shippers, Those of you who’ve followed me for a while probably remember I even had a warning sign for Xiaother shippers in my videos. But now, my perspective’s changed a lot. Because yeah… I realized what I did was really messed up. What made me realize that was when I saw a Xiaother edit randomly on my FYP. And when I checked their profile, they were actually one of my followers. I clearly remember—they always left kind and respectful comments and never even mentioned Xiaother under my Xiaolumi videos. I was like, “Dayum bro... I was such a jerk, wtf.” That’s what made me remove the Xiaother ban and try to be more respectful toward them. Not because I wanted to make up for the past—but because that’s just the right thing to do, no extra reason needed. So I’m really sorry to Xiaother shippers for what I did in the past 🙏💔 I totally let a few toxic Xiaother comments blind me—people I didn’t even know if they were being serious or just ragebaiting. And I also want to ask you guys not to reply harshly to people who mention other ships in my videos. Tbh, I feel kinda guilty about that... There’s always some kind of similarity in every difference, okay? Just because someone sees things differently, doesn’t mean they’re bad. One day, you might meet someone who ships something you “hate”, but they could also be the kindest person and become your closest friend. One thing I’m grateful for: I’ve never responded to hate with things like “keys without e ><” or “sybau.” Yeah, I think that’s way too mean just for some hate comment on the internet. If there are any reposts or past videos you think are offensive or inappropriate, feel free to tell me so I can take them down (since this account used to be run by a much more selfish and toxic version of me).
