Everyone thinks it’s sin and the lack of repentance that causes this while I who is heavily invested in my spiritual wellbeing sees it as a lack of proper infrastructure, not enough drains and the nastiness of the citizens who throws garbage every where causing the drainage system that’s already inadequate to be even more ineffective. Jamaica is a praying nation, with more churches per square mile than any other country in the world. We are more godly minded and spiritually inclined than most countries. I see no reason for such punishment from God and therefore does not subscribe to the sentiment of those who thinks that it is. Rather than being caught in religious psychosis, snap out of it and demand of the government to build proper drainage systems, more efficient infrastructure and to initiate strict penalties for those who litter. Also to do a bi-monthly or quarterly cleaning of all drains.
