Nobody talks about what it’s like to not have a village! My parents live in a different state. We would likely call our neighbors to help watch our son if my parents couldn’t make it

I’m in this exact situation right now. I have a call this afternoon to hire a Sibling Doula to have on call and stay with our toddler until we have family arrive in town. I’ll pay for the peace of mind instead of having to leave our toddler with a stranger (stranger to her) or not having my husband with me. I think a lot of doula companies are doing sibling doulas now even if they don’t advertise it as much. Could be an option for you too!

Just had my 4th in my brand new car because of this very reason 😬 had her 10 minutes after leaving the house in my car.. in my pants couldn’t even get my pants off in time.

5th labor here due in january and ive been dreadinggggg giving birth this time!!! The more experienced you are the worse it gets because you know what to anticipate. I’m hoping I go into labor with the doctor that is on the clock who makes you completely numb EVERYWHERE with the epidural. Did you know that certain doctors have different techniques with it which determines how numb or how not numb you get?!
