this 💯 % I absolutely agree there's a huge acknof legal accountability or protection or justice for victims of emotional, psychological abuse at the hands of people that have this criminal ability and are dangerous to society and community...it leads to generations of hurt which leads to mental health problems and worse crimes and violence which is perpetrated and then becomes intergenerational it is a sick mind with no empathy and complete narcissistic terrorism

Courts are also too lenient on cheaters. Property should be split 75% to the victim and 25% to the cheater and the cheater should have to go to court ordered therapy.

Also, I think cheaters that are married and especially if they have children should pay some sort of restitution in court (if say they’re getting divorced because of infidelity) for like therapy or something for the partner that has been cheated on and their children

Cheating isn't just physical too. Being cheated on is traumatizing. I have betrayal trauma from my ex cheating online but have also been physically cheated on. it's all equally traumatizing.

The thought that I was comfortably going to bed, brushing my teeth, getting dressed next to someone that was leading a double life while I had NO idea - that leaves legit psychological truama. There’s no way to ever get my mental health back to what it was before. I will ALWAYS have to deal with that deceit and betrayal and it will forever impact my life
