as someone who relies on dollar tree for crafting supplies because it's way cheaper to make decorations than to buy them im literally cooked this year. they also used to be great for making little gift baskets but not anymore

Last year around Christmas, I had gotten a metal vase to put flowers in for $1.25, this year I went there around fall, found the same exact thing with the fall pattern on it and it was $7, same quality, same item, different pattern. Needless to say, I did not buy it.

The whole point was I could go in and be confident I could pick up whatever and it was cheap enough I didn't have to worry about my final cost. but now some things are $10 per item.
