I made mine a little sweeter this time by adding 3 extra tablespoons of maple syrup and it was perfect. Save this one — you’ll make it again. ⸻ 🌱 Fudgy Black Bean Brownies (Vegan + Gluten-Free) Makes: 12 brownies Ingredients: • 1 can (15 oz) black beans, rinsed & drained • 2 tbsp ground flaxseed + 5 tbsp water • 7 tbsp maple syrup total (¼ cup + 3 extra tbsp) • ¼ cup melted coconut oil or avocado oil • ¼ cup unsweetened cocoa powder • ⅓ cup oat flour • 1 tsp vanilla • ½ tsp baking powder • Pinch salt (optional/skip for toddlers) • ⅓ cup mini dairy-free chocolate chips (optional but delicious) Instructions: 1. Preheat oven to 350°F and line an 8×8 pan. 2. Mix flax + water and let it thicken. 3. Add all ingredients (except chocolate chips) to a blender or food processor. Blend until completely smooth. 4. Fold in chocolate chips. 5. Spread into your pan and bake 25–28 min (or 22–24 min in a small oven). 6. Cool fully before slicing so they set.
