It's intentional, a type of hostile architecture. Its only function is to be a waiting shed during rainfall, tapos not much of a shade na para di tirhan ng mga tao.

How much did they pay for that design? Let me guess make it intricate to have a higher building cost. Then public outcry. They tear it down, and then build a new one with more taxes wasted.

Ginagandahan at nilalagyan nag aesthetics yung waiting shed. Yung environment at buildings na nakapaligid hindi naman akma sa design concept.
