The constant passive aggressive jabs paint the whole picture here. MIL can’t control DIL and she can’t stand it. Husband needs to fix this! Going NC is not the solution…yet. How the husband attempts to fix this, and MIL’s response will decide the next step. Both need to bend to meet in the middle. We don’t know the history but this sounds like a battle of wills.
