@whiskey_noobs: The most expensive AND least expensive bottles on my shelf! I didnt look up every single bottle, but I'm pretty darn sure these are the right ones. I personally don't think there are many whiskeys that merit spending over a hundred or so on. After that, I feel like the returns diminish significantly. That said, the two that tie for my most expensive are, in fact, fantastic pours. What's your most expensive bottle? Was it worth it?

Whistle Pig Boss Hog Magellan MSRP $500, it’s incredibly good but would never spend that much again on a bourbon. I have a Pappy 20 that I bought at msrp which is ok, and a Remus Cigar Cut I paid 230 for which is amazing!
