my heart genuinely goes out to anyone affected by the war. But the big question right now. How were 160 undocumented individuals flown into South Africa? This isn’t a case of someone slipping through a land border this is an organized flight. And it raises serious concerns. South Africa has its own challenges. There are also several Islamic countries much closer to the conflict zone that are in a far better financial and infrastructural position to assist. It’s fair to ask why South Africa becomes the default destination when we are already struggling. I understand we cannot send people back into a war zone that would be inhumane. But the obvious question remains. and what alliance did cyril go make now and with who.

I applaud them for welcoming these refugees, but South Africa can't even take care of its own people. So, how is government going to take care of refugees? They're quick to look good in the media for humanitarian efforts, and then those people end up facing the issues we already have. Coming from a war-stricken country only to be thrown into a completely corrupt one where the pockets of leadership are full, while those who keep the economy barely alive have next to nothing.
