I needed those days when my mom was fighting cancer. I'll also get paid for unused days when I retire. I watch employees everyday freak out when something unexpected happens and they don't have PTO.

Its perspective…. I had no annual leave and 1300 hours sick leave. You could bank 240 annual. I never did. That was 240 hours of time spent with family and friends.
