@oliviagdegraaf: NUTRITION TIPS: EPISODE 1 ✨ My top tips that actually changed my training: - Eating something before you train. No matter what time you train, please eat first. Your body needs fuel to perform at its best. Quick, fast digesting carbs work perfectly before a session. Think orange juice, a spoonful of honey, a bagel, dates, bananas, anything that gives you instant energy without feeling heavy. - Hydration is everything. Most people walk into the gym already dehydrated without realising it, then wonder why their session feels flat. Even a small level of dehydration affects your strength, endurance and focus. Start drinking water before you get to the gym, not during. Add electrolytes if you train early or sweat a lot. - Carbs truly give you power. If you have ever felt lightheaded, weak or like your session just is not hitting, it is probably because you trained on an empty stomach. Pre workout carbs help with energy, focus, endurance and better muscle contractions. - Protein throughout the day is just as important. You do not need a full meal right before training, but make sure you are hitting your protein across the day so your muscles can actually recover. PLEASE stop fearing food before training.
