More of the back story the Baltimore this officer is Robert A. Parks and the incident occurred on October 28th, 2025 but he was indicted until November 12, 2025 and he turned himself in and now he is facing 65yrs in prison if convicted! Officer Parks approached a group of people standing outside a liquor store and bar, telling them it was "getting a little hot" and they needed to "take a lap". While most of the group dispersed, one man (identified as Antrell Smith) began to walk away. Parks got back into his patrol car, drove a short distance, and called the man over. When the man refused to approach, Parks reportedly said, "All right, I'm gonna call the dogs and come get you," and then radioed dispatch saying he had "one running". Parks then accelerated his police cruiser directly at the man, who was forced to run into a grassy area to avoid being hit. Parks allegedly struck him once with the vehicle. The chase continued through an alley, where the man ran onto a sidewalk and between a utility pole and a fence. Parks drove onto the sidewalk after him and eventually crashed his vehicle through a chain-link fence into a backyard while still pursuing the man, who jumped another fence to escape being seriously injured. A bystander's video of the erratic and aggressive driving quickly went viral,
