I deconstructed religion and have been atheist for 5 years… but now I am moving more towards spirituality… I don’t believe in a god… but plant medicine showed me there is more than just this.

The average atheist is smarter than the average religious person, but there are still intelligent religious people. The way I see it religion is a coping mechanism for death and daily life. And those who can’t cope with their fears choose to believe in a god for comfort, which is understandable. But I just can’t lie to myself. I will never be able to make myself believe in a god even if I wanted too. For me it feels like I’m trying to limit and blind myself. I’m also fairly indifferent about dying or what comes after.
