Removed an had an ablation about 2 yrs after. They just about won’t just tie them now bc if you remove the it can reduce the risk of ovarian cancer! I did it bc I’m 41 had my last at 39 and I had csections didnt want any more kids bc have terrible pregnancies

I had them clamped a year after my last c section. I’ve had no issues. That was 10 years ago.

4 months after my tubal I got a partial hysterectomy only keeping my ovaries I’m 30. My periods got so bad after having my tubes removed and if I’m not having anymore kids anyway what’s the point of having a menstrual cycle still

Got my tubes removed. I’ve had shorter, lighter periods. I’m also perimenopausal so that might be part of it but I’m still happy I did it. I was sore the first day but relatively fine after day two very little pain and discomfort.

Hi new friend! I had mine removed. Period is heavier and more cramps but everyone will be different. C-section momma here and there was no difference in healing time!

Tubes removed. My doctor said that leaving them just tied is a greater chance they could turn cancerous

I had mine tied, removal wasn’t an option but I wouldn’t have done that, that’s too much for me, tied worked just fine for me, it was done 20 years ago tomorrow, the day my daughter was born

Sarah’s SAHM Journey :
I had mine removed during my scheduled c section with my youngest daughter. The postpartum recovery was a bit difficult because I’d have like what felt like contractions almost for a couple days afterwards. I had an EXTREMELY heavy period my first cycle after birth while I was still healing. But I’m a year out and haven’t noticed much difference in my periods or cramping. (Postpartum hospital car was bad and I was not given pain killers like I should’ve been. Not even Tylenol. So I’m unsure how much was the tubes and how much was the pain factor)

Had mine removed with my C-section with my last child. I haven’t really experienced anything except heavier periods after it’s not been 6 years the heavy slowed done quite a bit.

I attempted to get my tubes tied when my son was 3 months old, but they ended up puncturing my bowel and I ended up needing emergency surgery and was in the hospital for a week. My husband ended up getting a vasectomy and he was fine 😑

I had mine removed to make IVF more likely to work, so tied wasn’t an option, but it was a pretty simple surgery and a quick recovery. It was laparoscopic and the scarring was super minimal.

Removed. I knew I was done with having babies. I had a C-section and had it done then. I looked at my mental health while pregnant. And lessens cancer risk

Yeah noooooo :
Look up the side effects for both… if you don’t need to medically take them out don’t do it. If it’s because you don’t wanna get pregnant.. we’ll have baby daddy get snipped or no sex..
