.... I'm gonna bet it takes more time to load it than it saves. so unless you bought a bunch of the sticks and load them on the way there or on rainy days it'll be slower loading it over and over.

No disrespect but the deck boards seem a bit too close together. You should leave a solid 3/8inch (+/- 1/8inch) space between boards to allow for expansion and drainage. It looks like there is no space whatsoever.
