at times, we come upon a story that doesn’t merely stir the heart, but bids the soul to linger, to breathe slower, and to see life with quieter eyes. such was the feeling they left upon me. there was naught of clamour, nor pretence, nor counterfeit glow. it was the unspoken truth of two souls meeting. and therein lay something rare, near sacred. they showed me that love need not flames like fire nor cry aloud to be known. oft it comes unseen, like dawn upon the moors. certain and inevitable. and when it does, if feels as though it had dwelt within us all along. something half-remembered, wholly ours. theirs is that kind of bond, two souls not seeking, yet finding everything that once seemed lost. it makes me believe anew that love hath not perished from this earth. it still exists. to see them together is to be reminded to live with gentler hands. to awaken and simply be. to trust that amid the heaviness of days, goodness still breathes somewhere. their warmth gives that sort of hope. not the fleeting kind that fades, but the patient kind that stays, swishing, keep on. for perhaps, beyond the next turn, something kind awaits. they weathered enough to know that fondness isn’t measured bt the ease of fair weather, but by the finesse shown when empyreans darken. and thus, i have faith they shall be all right, come what may. for they already proven that being there for one another, when it costs, when it hurts, is the truest form of devotion. they hold not to an idea, but to the essence of who the other truly is. i pray the world be kind unto them. truly, i do. may life bestow upon them peace they have long sought. they have naught to prove, their tenderness speaks gently for itself, even in silence. there’s something in their gaze. an ease, a warmth that feels like shelter. as though home were no longer a place, but a presence. perhaps that’s what we all yearn for, someone who feels like home. someone who doesn’t rush our becoming, but abides beside us as we flatten. someone who hears the unsaid and stays nonetheless. if more hearts loved as they do, the world might indeed be kinder. they merit happiness. earnest, undiminished happiness. they deserve laughter woven through their days, and years of creating something good and whole. and though hardship shall find them, as it finds us all, i believe they will withstand. not because life is merciful, but because they already chosen each other. and sometimes, that choice alone is enough. may they walk in strength, always. forever onward, rania and jaden.
