We think it’s cheap but not the locals. I have a cousin who makes $40 a month . Imagine those $20 just spent on just that and half your money is gone for the month

Of course we think it’s expensive but in reality is not, I think everyone spend money depending on budget, if they are in El Salvador n they know they can only spend 5 a day that’s what they do

El dollar arruinó la economía de muchos aya en el El Salvador. Imaginate antes no decían $1.50 de dollar antes decían 50¢ de colones ósea con un dollar tenias 8 colones salvadoreños y con esos 8 colones podías comprar toda esa verdura. Not lie. Ósea si esta muy caro para los los cales

For us in the US it’s a reasonable price, but I think they need to come up with a system separating prices from tourism then actual salvadorians that live there. Where majority income is like $10 per day

I was born in Santa Ana in the 70s we ate frijoles (1 pound $1.50) arroz (1 pound $1.50) tortilla y queso ($2.) Con menos de $5 dollars comiamos por 3 o mas dias. La vida se ase, sienpre y cuando aya safety y NO crimen. Los salvadoreños saven sobrevibir. Si el minimo no es suficiente hay que rebuscarse. Nadie les ba dar free. Todo centro America diera el braso isquierdo por tener nuestro pais.
