One time my dad got a notification ON THE HIGHWAY that the key fob was no longer in the vehicle. He called me and said “hey so I think if I turn my car off it’s gonna become useless and I am almost out of gas. So you may be getting another call soon asking you to pick me up at a gas station… or the side of the road. I’m not sure, I haven’t thought that far yet.”

did this once. key fob was OUTSIDE of the car. no idea how it started but once i got to my destination (40 min away) and was leaving i couldn’t turn it back on!

so um the 2025 cars actually can drive 1,000 miles without the key fob💔 known from experience never lose a fob on the beach🤣🤣 then THE CAR RAN OUT OF GAS. WITH NO KEY IN THE DRIVEWAY.

One time was like "my phone connects to the radio so its in here somewhere!" when i got home i tore my moms whole car apart tryna find my phone.... my mom has no clue where my phone is either so shes helping... cleaning out her car too.. i turn on find my iPhone... my phone was in my moms purse.. 😅💔 its still a mystery on how it got there but at least i found it!

My husband did this, started the car at the house, went to work and when he left to go to another location the car wouldnt start bc the keys were right inside our door at the house still just close enough to get it to turn on 😬
