@botanicallybe: Plants and mental health have a huge correlation with each other! Prioritizing your mental health should be number 1 above all 🌱 #plants #MentalHealth #mentalhealthadvice #planttips #wellbeing
Can’t believe I almost missed Hidden Health Codes by Zane Hale. It reads like a manual that slipped through the cracks, something designed for those who were never supposed to see behind the curtain.

Britt I’m in the season !!! I just threw away two that were being extremely stressful due to spider mites. I’ve tried EVERYTHING and they would just get worse. Sooooo bye bye bye 👋🏽 and it felt good I’m not even going to lie. So thank you for the reminder 💚💚💚

I found thrips. I had no idea… I thought it was dirt until my plants started to look terrible. I’m usually ok with saving my plants but I literally threw most away or cut them bald. 😒

If I’m going to be honest, thé only pest I have are tiny flies and I don’t know how to get rid of them! I don’t think they are too bad for the plant though? 😔💖

As a Marine, woman who sufferers with PTSD due to mst, the best thing one of my therapist said to me is, buy a plant that brings you joy. I did, but I also was taught when to let go when that same joy plant no longer brought me joy and stressed me out(she was a drama queen). There is something to loving plants, but knowing when to let go.

I have an equation, the amount of passion for the plant + care - pest = goodbye… if the equation is more negative than positive there’s the final answer

I have been really lucky with not having pests in my plants. That luck recently ran out and my beautiful lemon tree got some. Honestly I don’t even k ow what they are, but I had to get rid of it. I don’t think I could handle it attacking all my other plants. I don’t think I will try a lemon tree again😢

Also that one infested plant can damage your whole collection… happened to me. A two year collection gone and I had to start all over.

We are in the same season. It was so therapeutic to throw away about 30+ cuttings that have been in water for ages and just never get the time to pot them up. Or just don’t have the space to put them. My plant room looked so cluttered and it had stopped bringing me peace… I grabbed the cuttings, thanked them and put them in the trash. 🥹🥰

I'm starting there. I'm new but if they come good bye plant. I had three so far. one i tossed in the trash but then I pulled pieces out and tried to salvage it. a part of it is doing well In water and one other part I tried to give it life but has to trash it. another one I did some of the treatment and it's been thriving...so I agree we put to much on ourselves to be perfect but it's a plant that is doing it's best to work with us. so we need to give ourselves grace. it's not always going to be great and that real life. I saw you throw yours away. good for you. it's ok. it's life.

Thank you for this. Your prior video tossing the plant gave me permission to let go of some props that I’ve been dealing with for months and was super stressful. When I put them out, such a HUGE weight and stress came off of me. I have over 100 plants, and I love them. But sometimes the stress of it can get heavy. Thank you for giving me permission to prioritize my mental health. I appreciate you. ♥️♥️♥️
