PART 2: FIVE MORE FREEDOM JUMPS! There’s a moment in every rescue that never leaves you — the first leap into freedom! It’s the second they realize they’re not going back. It’s the moment their whole world shifts. This is Part Two of our November auction arrivals — five more horses who made it to California, five more freedom jumps! One of the first horses you’ll see is the mostly blind Belgian gelding who became our very first save from the November auction weekend. His vet exam in Texas confirmed cancer in both of his eyes — the reason his vision has been fading. It’s too far spread for removal, and taking both eyes would not be fair to him. So instead of giving up on him, we brought him home to give him comfort, quality of life, and softness for as long as he still has good days. Another gelding you’ll see is one of those horses who never should have ended up in the pipeline. Quiet. Kind. Also mostly blind. A thrown away ranch horse. And then there’s Fritz — our surprise save from a completely different auction happening the same weekend. He’d already been through two sales. His feet are in terrible condition. The moment I saw him, all I could think about was Frederick. After his exam, we learned he has fasciitis — inflammation from growing too fast — and it makes sense. He’s only around a year and five months old… and already 19 hands. His angles are bad, no heel support, his joints are hurting, and he was never given a chance to grow the way a baby needs. He’ll be getting corrective shoeing, equi-pack pads, and a diet tailored to his massive frame. a baby. He deserved better — and he finally got it! Five more lives. Five more chances. Five more horses whose stories almost ended very differently. ALL THANKS TO YOU AND YOUR SUPPORT ❤️ Thank You!!!@TonyTx @Lightening.Lil @Vanessawilson@Emma Smith
