Day 4 Itinerary for Bali Y'all the locals think we are CRAZY when we tell them how much we are packing into a 6 day stay...they don't know us very well..we are determined and stubborn to get in all of the things. Let's do the run down. . First stop Mt. Batur (they say it's a med difficult sunrise hike overlooking lake Batur..they lie 🤣). My calves were on fire and in some parts you are legitimately mountain climbing up this ACTIVE volcano. It's a 1 mile hike that takes every bit of 2 hours up. You must get a guide I do not recommend not getting one. We brought headlamps, but the guides will provide them as well. (Tip they do have scooters you can rent that will take you up and down to help you out). Sunrise is at 6 am so we were on the road at 2:30 and hiking by 4 to catch the 6:20 am sunrise. Was it worth it. 1000% I'd do it once in a lifetime lol. Our Guide @eka_nek was amazing and even cooked us a little breakfast up at the top of the mountain. Like Y'all everyone is beyond friendly here it's unreal. . After that we went to @akasa_specialtycoffee this place is SPECIAL it has a gorgeous mountain and lake view, we ordered 2 entrees, 2 drinks, 2 extra sides of bacon and it was ONLY $24. Pro tip you seat yourself when you walk in (we waited for 15 minutes not knowing this 🤣). Food is 1000/10 . @goaraja_waterfall was our next stop this is a pretty steep walk, but again so worth it. The waterfall is so powerful and impressive. . @monkeyforestubud was top of my list we had missed it on day 2 because of the rain, but had a window yesterday that we took and I am so grateful because my goodness I could watch these guys for hours!! . Since we started our day so early we ended it early back in our room where we laid in the outdoor hammocks, ordered room service, and Netflix and chilled @beyondheaven27 . As always our private driver @pandebali_driver has worked overtime to take us safely around the island, take our pictures and videos, and always welcomes us with a smile. . This is the Ubud Bali area where we are already discussing a return trip in July.
