People dismissing Kendrick as a song writer and Migos as a band are the same people now outraged at the thought of Destinys child being inducted into the Rock and Roll hall of fame. And I can see what all those people have in common….

The funny thing about the whole band/group belittlement was that at the time NSYNC and Backstreet Boys were literally made to copy off of REAL BANDS like Jodeci and Dru Hill, and vocal ones like 112 etc, and market them to white audiences. Jodeci was the blueprint for all them. Even New Edition was the blueprint for New Kids on the block and was formed by the same person

The reason why it girl groups and boy band is that it rolls off the Yoh hue easier and it’s to catch on an audience by using alliteration but your points are correct i do agree
