What they don’t tell you is it’s looks like this for about 4 blocks and then there’s nothing 🙃 you can do the whole “Christmas Town” in about 45 minutes and you’re done.

As someone who lives in Georgia and has visited Helen a ton of times… it’s still fun and cute. Influencer videos definitely make it look more “perfect” than it actually will be irl- but that’s literally with anything in the world. There’s social vs reality. The reality is still fun. It just isn’t gonna look like a damn hallmark movie, but the experience is what you make it. Go or don’t, but stop crapping on everything just because it doesn’t look “perfect” enough for you.
