Dude fr- my bf and I don’t make much but we still spent $175 and all she wanted was a doll house and we still got her a big Barbie dream house, and 5 Barbie sets/dolls and clothing and a car… if you can’t give these children what they asked for .. don’t do it!

I hope this doesn’t deter people from participating and having kids go completely without just because people are feeling to shamed for trying. You don’t have to be wealthy or go overboard in order to give someone a good Christmas. Be thoughtful and kind, and most of all thank you for participating.

i’m beyond broke rn, like can’t afford basic necessities broke, however i took a tag off the angel tree and blessed a kid with the items he asked for + some extras to go with them. it’s not hard to bless someone with what they ask for if it’s affordable.
